Operating since 1948, DWD Technologies Group initially focused on drilling. Over the years, we have expanded into various other industries and now operate through three divisions: DWD Engineering, DWD Drilling, and DWD Solutions.

DWD Technologies Group provides world-class drilling services, backed by over 70 years of experience in some of the most remote regions of Southern Africa. Our engineering facility utilizes cutting-edge equipment and technology to meet all of our clients' heavy engineering needs. In addition, we have recently partnered with Pirtek to offer top-tier hydraulic solutions to various sectors within Botswana.

As a 100% Botswana-owned company, we are committed to supporting local communities through various social responsibility programs throughout the year. HISTORY

The history of DWD Technologies Group’s engagement in Botswana dates back to 1947, when the late Mr. Jan de Wet, the paternal grandfather, began drilling operations in what was then the Bechuanaland Protectorate. Today, DWD Technologies Group is a diverse, family-run business, now owned and operated by the third generation, and headquartered in the Republic of Botswana.

The company holds the distinction of being the most experienced and longest-standing drilling establishment in this region. Our expertise has been developed over decades, often under the most challenging conditions and in the most remote parts of Botswana. We use world-class, state-of-the-art equipment, customized to meet local requirements and demands. Over the years, the company has diversified into heavy engineering, heavy steel manufacturing, hydraulic hoses and fittings, and agriculture.
