We have been in operation since 1948 with our primary focus on drilling during the early stages of the Company. DWD Technologies Group expanded throughout the years into various other industries and we have expanded into three divisions namely DWD Engineering, DWD Drilling and DWD Solutions.
DWD Technologies Group offers world class drilling, with more than 70 years of experience drilling in the remotest parts of Southern Africa. Our Engineering facility uses the most innovative equipment and technology to ensure that all heavy engineering requirements of our clients are fulfilled. We have also recently partnered with Pirtek to offer the best hydraulics solutions to various sectors within Botswana.
As a 100% Botswana owned Company we strive to support our local communities with various social responsibility programs throughout the year as we believe in giving back and supporting the economy of Botswana. We currently have more than 300 employees and we are dedicated to creating more employment in the future.

HISTORY
The history of engagement in Botswana dates to 1947 when the late Mr. Jan de Wet, the paternal grandfather, commenced in humble beginnings, with drilling operations in what was then known as Bechuanaland Protectorate. DWD Technologies Group is today a diverse family run operation owned by the third generation and based in the Republic of Botswana. The Company is the most experienced and longest standing drilling establishment in this part of the world. The Company gained its drilling experience over decades under the most adverse conditions and in remotest parts of Botswana. Our equipment is world class, of the latest available and modified to suit local requirements and demands. Diversification took place over years into Heavy Engineering, Heavy Steel Manufacturing, Hydraulic Hoses and Fittings and Agriculture.
